This morning from 9-11 AM, Bismarck hosted a local career fair for our students and the JAG program from West County. Overall, we had about 18 booths available to interface with junior and senior high school students. We had industry professionals from Lee Mechanical, US Tool, Brockmiller Construction, and Jones Excavation. There were many booths devoted to health service careers like St. Francis Medical Center and The Baptist Home. Mineral Area College was also giving out information regarding applied health, business administration, and electrical careers. Students had a chance to “Be All They Can Be” by speaking with our local ARMY recruiters. The colleges of State Tech in Linn, MO and College of the Ozarks in Hollister, MO were imparting information regarding their college programs too. It was a great event today all organized by Bismarck J.A.G. teacher, Ms. Amy Helms.
