Here is what their coaches had to say about their efforts and what they mean to the team.

Coach Jessica Jones –  “Kylie Hubbs and Madison Randazzo are my nominees for the week! These two girls give their all and are the best teammates. They may not get the playing time that everyone gets but they never give up on their team and cheer for them every second of every game! Our team is so lucky to have these girls!”

Coach Madison Dugal – “It is with great pleasure that I nominate Ms. Jacey King for Athlete of the Week. In addition to being an outstanding setter for the j.v. volleyball team, Jacey’s talents go beyond athletics. Her ability to project herself in a respectful manner catches most people’s attention on and off the court. A quiet yet strong leader through play, she continues to improve daily by working hard in practice and implementing the instruction given to her. Jacey has grown so much as a player this season in both skill and confidence, I could not be more proud of her. I am eager to see her progress and grow, and look forward to seeing what she brings to the court in the future. Congratulations, Jacey on this very deserving honor.”

Coach Todd Varhalla & Coach Colin Eaton – “For middle school, it’s got to be the Girls Team.  They finished 3rd out of 5 teams at the MAAA Conference Meet.  Lilly Davis, Halie Dickey, Lilly Dreste, Emma Dickey, and Jennette Perschka.  Running is an individual sport and a team sport.  These ladies ran hard and earned third place in the MAAA Conference at Potosi.”

For high school, these runners had a personal record at the Farmington Meet.
Ethan Dugal with a time of 22:46.
Payton Frost with a time of 26:44.
Jordan Ketcherside with a time of 19:48.
Daven Miller with a time of 19:28.
Chase Rider with a time of 22:22.
Levi Sheckles with a time of 21:30.
Sven Wilson with a time of 26:11.
Janson King with a time of 24:04.

Coach Chelsea McFarland – “Kinsey and Ashley are a huge part of both the 7th and 8th-grade volleyball teams. They have many different jobs and play A TON of volleyball…no matter where I put them they do their job. They are always getting their team pumped with a BIG KILL or providing entertainment by fighting or singing! This season these girls have grown into phenomenal players that their coaches and the entire team can count on. “
