On April 25th, Bismarck had its annual Elementary Spring Concert.  The concert was under the direction of Mr. Matthew Boyer, K-12 Vocal Music Teacher.  The concert started out with the Pre-K students who were under the direction of Ms. Mandy Voyles doing their best rendition of “Baby Shark.”  After this, it was the kindergarten’s turn to sing “5 Little Ducks.”  Mr. Boyer then led the 1st grade in singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.”  The second-grade classes sang “Give Me Your Heart.”  The vocal singing portion of the concert was rounded out by the third graders singing “Don’t Let Me Down.”

For the final performances of the night, the 4th and 5th-grade classes played their recorders.  The 4th graders played “Merrily We Roll Along” while the 5th graders played “It’s Raining.”

Below you can see some pictures of last night’s performances.  All photos courtesy of Ms. Amy Helms.

Please remember to support our Arts and Music programs at Bismarck.  Fine arts builds confidence and fosters creativity in the hearts and minds of our students.

A quick reminder that on Thursday, May 16th at 6 pm the Junior High and High School Music Programs will perform.  You will hear the Junior High Choir, Concert Choir, and Swing Choir during this performance.  Don’t miss it!!
