The local 4H chapter is currently doing a robotics petting zoo with a handful of Bismarck Elementary and Junior High students. Ann Boes, a retired aerospace engineer, and Kayce Amsden from the St. Francois County University of Missouri Extension are helping students with the design and technology implementation of each student’s animal. With the help of a few Bismarck teachers and parents, students are getting a chance to have their imaginations run wild while seeing their creatures come to life. This is the first year that the 4H robotics petting zoo has been offered at Bismarck R-5. The program is getting ready to wrap up at the end of the month. Stay tuned for finalized projects. Thank you parents for your involvement as well! Below you will see some pictures of students and their families hard at work.
