Gapsch Wins Elks Student of the Month for January 2019

The Farmington Elks Club has announced that Tyler Gapsch is the winner of the BHS “Student of the Month” for January 2019. Tyler is involved in many activities around Bismarck R-5. He plays basketball and baseball serving as one of the team captains.  He is also an A+ tutor.

Gapsch works as a crew trainer at his job after school while maintaining his GPA.  Gapsch currently has a 2.4 G.P.A while working about 30 hours a week.  Gapsch has recently won Bismarck Student of the Month for the school.

Tyler is the son of Doug and Ann Droege. His plans after high school include attending Mineral Area College for two years.  Then, he plans to transition to Missouri Baptist University to obtain his degree in education.  He hopes to become a physical education teacher one day.

For winning this award, Tyler gets $100 for his college expenses and a chance to win Elk’s “Teen of the Year” in May.
