The Farmington Elks Club has announced that Clay Gillam is the winner of the BHS “Student of the Month” for November 2018. His activities include being in National Honor Society and the 4-H club.

In Clay’s spare time, he is an avid outdoorsman.  He likes to hunt and fish.  He also helps on the family’s farm.  Clay also stated that he is a semi-professional whipmaker.

He has been on the honor roll carrying a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A.

Clay is the son of Brad and Sue Gillam. Gillam’s plans after high school include going to a technical college.  Right now he is undecided on where he would like to go but is leaning toward State Tech in Linn, MO.  He would like to be a union electrician.

For winning this award, Clay gets $100 for his college expenses and a chance to win Elk’s “Teen of the Year” in May.

Congratulations Clay on this accomplishment!!
