Another new faculty member hired by Bismarck R-5 School District over the summer was Whitney Boyer.  She is an alumnus of Bismarck graduating in 2014.  While she attended Bismarck, she was heavily involved in Pep Club, NHS, Student Council.  Ms. Boyer was hired on as elementary school paraprofessional for the 2018-2019 school year.

The school publications staff decided to ask Whitney a few questions in order to get to know her better.

What’s your favorite thing about working with elementary age children?

“Knowing that every single day I can impact more than one child in some way. I also love watching them learn new skills and seeing their excitement when they achieve their goals.”

How do you like working for the same school you graduated from?

“I know all the staff.  Everyone is welcoming.  I love the small school feel.  I couldn’t imagine going to a bigger school.”

What are some things you like to do in your spare time?

“In my spare time, you can usually find me at home with my family. Home is my favorite place to be.  I also like gardening, cooking, riding 4-wheelers, camping, and fishing.”
