The World Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) competition was held in February.  Bismarck High School team placed 2nd overall in the competition.  Their trophy now resides in the high school office. Other schools who participated in the event locally were Farmington, North County, and West County.
Congratulations to the individuals who placed in the top three of their events.  Those students received a medal for their accomplishments.  Below are the individual winners and the team members involved in the WYSE competition.  Congratulations to all participated!!
11th Grader – Shaylin Ryder  1st place    (English)
9th Grader – Zac Palmier      1st place    (Computer Science)
11th Grader – Sarah Hale        2nd place  (Chemistry)
9th Grader  – Dylan Cole        3rd place   (Engineering Graphics)
10th Grader – Josh Hale          3rd place   (Physics)
10th Grader – Josh Hale          3rd place   (Mathematics)
