Sunday, October 8 through Saturday, October 14 marked Fire Prevention Week in the United States.  This year’s theme is titled “Every Second Counts: Plan Two Ways Out.”  The NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) theme helped to reinforce the need to have a pre-determined escape plan.

Bismarck Fire Department showed up last Friday to play a fire prevention video to the elementary.  The kids had a chance to see our brave firemen and firewomen in their gear as well.  All grades, Pre-K through 5th, were also given a guided tour of the firetruck.

Below, you will see some pictures from the event.
