Mrs. Amy Hubbs is a second year teacher here at Bismarck. This is her first year as an assistant coach for the volleyball team.  She is responsible for our Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program.  In her spare time, she is a semi-professional photographer.

Below is a list of questions that we asked her about her new venture into coaching.

 Is this the first time coaching?

“It is my first time coaching high school. I have coached my daughter’s softball & volleyball teams in the past.”

How do you think the season is going to go?

“I think the season is going to go great.”

 Where do you see yourself in the future as a volleyball coach?

“Hopefully still being a coach. Haha!”

 Did you play volleyball in high school?

“Yes, I played volleyball in Jr. High & High School.”

Was your experience in high school VB inspirational enough to make you want to be a coach?

“I loved playing in high school. It was always a fun sport I enjoyed to play. I am fortunate enough to get to assist my sister, Coach Jessica Wilfong, this year.  I look forward to seeing what these girls are going to accomplish this year & in the future.”
