Recently, the Bismarck Band and Choir had their district music festival competitions. This year Bismarck was privileged to have two students land first chair honors at this event. Dakotah Mandina (left) won district first chair honors on the flute for his rendition of Box Fifth Flute Sonata.
Hannah Kunkel (right) sang her way to first chair honors by performing a melody of songs. Kunkel performed Perla Gloria Da Dorouri composed by Bonocini. She also sang Danny Boy composed by Julie Knowles.
Please come out and support Bismarck Fine Arts. You could be missing award-winning performances.
Congrats Dakotah and Hannah on your fantastic accomplishments. Good luck at state!!!
