Bismarck R-5 High School was honored as a “Missouri Exemplary Professional Learning Community School” by the State of Missouri. We are 1 of 16 schools in the state to be recognized, and we are the only high school in the state to be recognized this year. Mr. King states, “I am so proud of our students, teachers, staff, and parents. Their hard work and dedication to excellence is what has gotten us to this point. As for the future, I am convinced that the best is yet to come!”

In order to celebrate this enormous accomplishment, all junior high and high school students were treated to free pizza.  All students were also entered into a drawing for free drinks.  The Bismarck faculty also had a chance to participate in the good times with free pizza and staff drawings for gift cards.  Below, you will see a picture of the leadership team from Bismarck R-5 High School accepting the award and a close-up of the award itself.
