Since today is Election Day, the Bismarck Elementary School exercised their civic duty by voting in a mock election.  Mrs. Hilary Freeman’s gifted program helped to run the festivities for the elementary school.  Students from kindergarten through fifth grade had pre-printed ID cards and had the chance to vote in their own private booth.  Ballot cards consisted of making a simple boy or girl choice for some classes.  Donald Trump ended up being the winner after the day’s results were counted.  Trump won 135 to 58.  You can see some images of this event below.

Also, the high school ran a mock election through Mr. Warren’s first hour class.  Donald Trump was the overall favorite taking in 77% of the vote.

With the hindsight of America’s vote, it looks like our students have a good read on who is best suited to lead our country.
